Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt organizes a school trip for community classrooms in Al Fayoum Governorate

Cairo, April 2026

In alignment with its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in collaboration with “Kolena Maa Baad” organization to support “Together we make a difference” initiative that was recently launched by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) organized an educational trip to Grand Egyptian Museum for students from community classrooms in Al Fayoum Governorate.

The trip aimed to enrich student’s knowledge of Egypt’s cultural heritage and provide them with a unique learning experience outside their classrooms. This initiative reflects the Bank’s dedication to supporting underprivileged communities and enhancing educational opportunities for young students. By offering such enriching experiences, the Bank seeks to inspire curiosity, promote cultural awareness, and encourage students to connect with their history.

In continuation of its partnership with “Kolena Maa Baad” Organization, ABK-Egypt also organized two field visits by Bank representatives to deliver awareness sessions to parents, highlighting the importance of education and raising awareness on the risks related to child labor and early marriage among girls.

The initiative “Together we make a difference” was initiated to encourage bank employees to participate in volunteering activities through the cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and reinforce the importance of community engagement and culture enrichment activities. This initiative is one of a series of initiatives launched by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for all Egyptian banks to support and actively participate in.

It is worth noting that ABK-Egypt continuously strives to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged students with high potential across all Egyptian governorates, enabling them to complete their education. Additionally, the Bank consistently aligns its CSR strategy with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) agenda and the Egyptian government’s direction towards Egypt's Vision 2030. This has been quite evident in the various community development initiatives launched by the Bank over the years to provide financial relief, shelter, educational, medical support, and food supplies to underprivileged segments, in addition to further initiatives that empower women, youth, and individuals with disabilities.
